Core Responsibilities

  1. Candidate Engagement & Attraction:
    • Use a variety of channels, such as online job boards, social media and professional networks, to actively reach out to exceptional international Francophone candidates.
    • Present the unique benefits of the Francophone Mobility Program to create genuine excitement and interest in candidates.
    • Showcase the value of working with our organization to build a strong rapport with potential hires from the start.
  2. Relationship Building:
    • Foster meaningful relationships within the recruitment team and with potential candidates, aiming to enhance awareness of global Francophone recruitment efforts.
    • Work towards organizational recruitment goals by improving team collaboration and promoting a positive candidate experience.
  3. Talent Pipeline Development:
    • Build and maintain an extensive talent pool for ongoing recruitment requirements.
    • Leverage your resourcefulness and proactive mindset to constantly refine and enhance our hiring strategies.
  4. Screening & Shortlisting:
    • Efficiently evaluate, track and prioritize candidate applications to meet our recruitment criteria.
    • Utilize structured methods to assess applicant suitability, ensuring only the best talent is moved forward in the process.
  5. Interviewing & Assessment:
    • Conduct thorough initial screenings and detailed interviews, carefully evaluating candidates for fit and alignment with role requirements.
    • Deliver a seamless and engaging experience, allowing applicants to feel valued throughout the interview process.
  6. Process Improvement:
    • Curate resumes that meet the specifications outlined in job descriptions and conform to National Occupational Classification (NOC) standards.

Qualifications

  • Recruitment & Sales Experience:
    • A strong background in recruitment and sales, with a proven ability to build connections and nurture professional relationships.
  • Talent Sourcing Skills:
    • Skilled in utilizing sourcing tools including social networks and job boards, as well as advanced research techniques to identify and attract top candidates.
  • Global Talent Awareness:
    • Familiarity with international talent programs such as Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and LMIA-exempt pathways is advantageous.
  • Diversity Advocacy:
    • A committed approach to promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Fluency in both French and English is required for this role to facilitate effective communication with a diverse talent pool.
